T00N is a multi-media project created myself to explore artistic mediums, such as animation and illustration.
The series follows an alien named Toon after being forced to confront the repercussions of his past; following in his wake are fellow extra-terrestrials, witches, gods and even Death.
The project is situated within the New Weird genre, and is non-conformist to the strict boarders the folklore, science-fiction and the horror which inspires it.
In addition to the 3D Models, illustrations, scripts, editing & the majority of the voice acting, I also produced promotional material including posters, behind-the-scenes materials and merchandise available on Redbubble.com.

(Above) Episode 11 Posters | For episode 11, I wanted something cinematic for the project and thus leaned into Episode 11's inspiration, films like ALIEN or Sleeping Beauty.

(Above) Screenshots from across the series | The creative project hybridizes visual mediums; Characters are typically 2D whilst sets and other elements are constructed in Blender, After Effects or video footage.
Logos from the Series | The series features many strange & alien locations. To signify locations of importance, unique logos help characterise them.
Hadas Font | I created a specialised font to represent the language of the Hadas, an alien species orignal to the series.
Aspect Murals | Many assets develop the universe of T00N through visual storytelling. Featured here are ‘the Aspects,’ entities not directly referenced in the narrative, beyond small cameos.
Symbols | A diverse range of logos and icons were created to develop the universe of T00N.

(Above) Blender to AfterEffects Workflow | Textures created either directly in Blender or hand drawn. Exports are then edited in AfterEffects. Film grain and chromatic aberration is added to simulate vintage film cameras, as the series takes inspiration from retro graphics.
