"A [Drag] House divided against itself cannot stand!" Abraham Lincoln, 1856 (kinda)
Tensions mount during a diva-themed drag show, culminating in a fierce murder! While waiting for the police, the night is swiftly transformed into a whodunnit! Can you figure out who slayed?"
She Slayed: A Drag Murder Mystery is a comedy, murder-mystery theatrical show produced by Nicholas ‘Vic’ Reynolds. The show was created for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2024 and sold out seven performances. It has ran for two further seasons at Sydney Mardi Gras 2025 and Melbourne Midsumma 2026.
I created digital and printed assets, including posters, social media tiles & brochures. I also managed the official She Slayed Account during ticket seasons.
(Above) Debut Posters | The official poster for She Slayed is a parody of the film The Usual Suspects. This poster was adapted for each season due to a changing cast.

(Above) Debut Posters | During the concept phase, we toyed with varuous methods to contruct the poster. This included using 3D sets to design the posters, though we decided against it as it "too greatly resembled a diorama."
(Above) 2025 Posters | The new promotion material for the 2025 season took inspiration from 'terrible and tired' horror movie franchises, such as Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. There was little logic behind this choice, other than being suitably camp.
(Above) Pop-Art Posts | A group of promotional images inspired by the pop-art movement, notably Andy Warhol. The vivid colours associated with Pop Art were appropriately camp for a drag queen murder mystery.

(Above) 2026 Posts | The new promotion material for the 2026 season followed the precedent of the 2025 season, taking stylistic inspiration from Tony Palladino's work on Hitchcock's Psycho.
